EDRMS System Administrator
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of PermanencyDetails: The TCCS Records and Information Management team is a unit within the Governance and Ministerial Services Branch and is responsible for the provision of advice and support to TCCS business units about the management of physical and electronic records in accordance with the Territory Records Act 2002 and ACT Government standards. The team also provides administrative support and training for the Objective Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
The EDRMS System Administrator, under general direction from the Records and Information Manager, is responsible for the internal management, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of a range of system functions and development to continuously improve and keep up with the ongoing evolution of digital services provided by TCCS.
The Records and Information Management team provides administrative support and training for the Directorate's EDRMS, Objective. The Records and Information Manager works closely with the EDRMS Administrator and is responsible for the TCCS records management program, policy, and procedures. The role will also contribute to the Governance team outcomes of developing and implementing governance systems and policies that cover and support the full range of TCCS business activities.
Maintain and manage TCCS EDRMS, supporting over 900 users with general user enquiries, access control, security groups, privileges, audits, and training. Additionally, the occupant will manage and improve internal system processes and workflows within Objective, exploring continuous improvement pathways for Objective and records management practices, particularly the EDRMS use within the Directorate.Participate in the Governance and Ministerial Services program of work and assist in the use of the EDRMS and its implementation throughout TCCS, including the creation and update of policies, procedures, and manuals, and assisting in the creation of strategic plans and directions.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in relation to EDRMS management and troubleshooting and participate in regular meetings associated with the records and information management function. Build and maintain relationships across records management and ICT networks within the ACT Government.Provide subject matter expertise, policy advice, and direction to TCCS staff in relation to the records management function, particularly as it relates to the EDRMS.This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
