We currently have a temporary vacancy for up to 5 years for a Temp Advisor (Procurement) to join the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project. The LGC project will unlock the current bottleneck on the Southeast Queensland rail network to enable more services to run more frequently and reliably between Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast and is a key infrastructure investment ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As the Temp Advisor (Procurement), you will assist with key procurement activities for the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project, supporting the successful delivery of the program of works. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Contribute to key procurement activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Provide timely, professional and strategic procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers. Develop proficiency in TMR source to pay (Fieldglass) systems. Arrange, implement and manage end-to-end procurement activities, including the preparation of all relevant documentation. Provide input to, and prepare, performance updates, reconciliations, reviews, reports, briefs, and other relevant activities as required. Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives and promote best practice to support optimal procurement outcomes. Support the Senior Advisor (Procurement) through mentoring, guiding and providing direction into the day-to-day responsibilities of Contract Administrators. Operate in compliance with the Queensland Procurement Policy, departmental policies, procedures, frameworks, delegations and guidelines to uphold integrity and accountability of procurement activities.
