We currently have a temporary vacancy for up to 5 years for a Temp Senior Advisor (Change Management) to join the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project. Working on this exciting project, you will be a part of a team that is delivering major improvements for customers and communities between Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.
The LGC project will unlock the current bottle neck on the Southeast Queensland rail network to enable more services to run more frequently and reliably between Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast and is a key infrastructure investment ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
With extensive track upgrades, 9 new train stations, 5 level crossing removals, park 'n' ride upgrades and new active travel pathways, this transformational project will deliver significant benefits to communities, customers and businesses along the 20km corridor.
As the Temp Senior Advisor (Change Management) you will be a leader in developing and implementing program change management, governance and reporting activities as part of the LGC Program Management Office (PMO) to support the successful delivery of the program.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to the preparation of Change Control Board (CCB) meeting papers and the coordination and management of meetings and minutes. Support the preparation of correspondence, minutes, briefs, submissions, reports, updates or statements to Federal and State Government agencies. Support the identification, analysis and reporting of risk and compliance issues for the project. Facilitate and undertake the timely preparation of high-quality change management plans, processes and workflows by integrating, analysing, and reporting on information across the project including emerging trends and issues. Methodically interrogate systems to source information, ensuring the credibility of reports and resulting evidence. Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with discipline leads across the project team and wider department to ensure integration with other reporting processes and a best practice approach. Contribute to the prioritisation, management and delivery of set tasks and activities, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines within quality, cost and time constraints. Encourage and actively promote a proactive, performance focused culture within the team. Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support an environment of continual improvement.
