We currently have a temporary vacancy for up to 5 years for a Temp Principal Advisor (Governance & Reporting) to join the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project. Working on this exciting project, you will be a part of a team that is delivering major improvements for customers and communities between Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.
The LGC project will unlock the current bottleneck on the Southeast Queensland rail network to enable more services to run more frequently and reliably between Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast and is a key infrastructure investment ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As the Temp Principal Advisor (Governance), you will be accountable for program governance and reporting activities supporting the successful delivery of projects within the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Program Management Office (PMO).
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to the preparation of project governance group meeting papers and the coordination and management of meetings and minutes. Lead the preparation of correspondence, minutes, briefs, submissions, reports, updates or statements to Federal and State Government agencies. Lead the identification, analysis and reporting of the project's risks and compliance functions. Prepare high-quality project management plans and project performance reports by integrating, analysing, and reporting on information across the project, emerging trends and issues. Interrogate systems to source required information, applying methods to ensure the credibility of reporting and the evidence sourced. Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with discipline leads across the project team and wider department to ensure integration with other reporting processes and a best practice approach. Lead the prioritisation, management and delivery of set tasks and activities with an emphasis on meeting deadlines within quality, cost and time constraints. Encourage and actively promote a proactive, performance-focused culture within the team. Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support an environment of continual improvement. Some employment benefits:
