In the role of Advisor (Stakeholder Engagement) you will provide strategic communication services to technical and professional employees for internal and external communications, community engagement, social media and stakeholder relationship management within Infrastructure Management and Delivery Division (IMD) and Program Delivery and Operations Branch (PDO) including the Business Management Office.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities for projects in the branch and division, including providing project leads, officers and stakeholders with ongoing strategic communications advice, and developing and implementing communication strategies (if needed). Coordinate activities to support the PDO Communications Network regular meetings and activities. Coordinate activities to support internal communications for PDO Branch. Provide communication advice and support to the Director (Business Management Office), Manager (Stakeholder Engagement), other members of the PDO CSM Team and other regional employees in the areas of issues management, social media, risk assessment, community engagement and communication strategies using appropriate communication tools and channels. Coordinate the preparation of communications materials, including leading webpage development and review (and facilitate approvals), briefs, presentations, newsletters, flyers, and display materials, speech notes for internal and external stakeholders. Provide advice and review communication briefs, communication engagement plans and associated materials for PDO regions when required. Provide advice and guidance for presentations to PDO regions (and facilitate approvals). Provide training, advice and support to regional employees and consultants to enhance communication skills and improve relationships with key stakeholders and the community in the delivery of projects and initiatives. Develop and implement communication strategies, activities, procedures and policies which assist the regions to achieve their strategic objectives. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
