We are currently seeking a Transport and Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in Perth, Western Australia on a permanent basis.

About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for executing and following up on complex shipping operations and coordination.
You will report directly to the Procurement Manager and Project Manager and work closely with key internal and external stakeholders including procurement, administration, vendors, project team, finance, engineering, construction, legal, and the client.
Your main responsibilities will be to: Successfully execute the shipping activities for the PO assigned on a project in accordance with Technip Energies Global Principles & Standards.
Manage transportation activities in accordance with the Logistic Execution Plan defined for the project.
Assign shipping activities to the freight forwarder and monitor execution.
Contribute to the freight forwarder performance assessment.
Manage invoice and verification of the service rendered by the freight forwarder.
Motivate team members located across different business centers and countries to be highly engaged in daily activities and improvement initiatives.
Provide transport cost and man-hour estimates and reports.
Monitor budgets vs project execution.
Develop transport and logistics management plan for projects in agreement with the Project Procurement Manager.
Plan and revise shipping schedule.
Prepare issue specifications, invitation to bid, negotiation documents and service orders.
Define and assign to forwarding agents any shipments out of service order.
Contact suppliers and coordinate pick-up operations, based on the loading/shipping plan for each shipment.
Issue or coordinate the issue of import-export documentation, together with the Administration Department when necessary.
Issue and update the Shipping Notice to the various parties involved and send a separate set of shipping documents to the field.
Take part in minor buyer activities to support OSD.
Interface with site materials team for site coordination, preservation, and storage of materials.

About You We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following requirements: Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or Business & Administration or equivalent work experience.
5 - 10 years relevant experience working within management and coordination of complex shipping schemes.
Previous Lead or Coordinator experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of IT tools or web inquiry management IT tool is highly regarded.
Experience working across oil & gas / energy projects.
A strong understanding of the movement of large modules and multimodal transport.
The ability to engage with freight forwarders and negotiate agreements.
An in-depth understanding of customs, regulations and procedures.
Proficient with stakeholder engagement.
Adaptable and capable of coordinating across international locations.
