What does the job look like? As a Transport Allocator you will play a crucial role in our retail transport team making sure that our customer gets their deliveries on time every time. With your exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning and dispatching deliveries across Queensland metropolitan areas. You will be working a 4x4 rotating roster commencing 3pm – 3am. Key areas:
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationshipsMaintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and complianceMaintaining regular contact with our customer to keep them updated and well informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact themMonitoring drivers' fatigue to ensure that they are compliant and fit to drive Are you the one? Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.Strong geographical knowledge of the Queensland metro area will be highly regarded, however not essentialHighly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environmentHighly proficient computer skills and ability to pick things up quicklyAt Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
