What does the job look like? As a Transport Allocator you will play a crucial role in our retail transport team making sure that our customer gets their deliveries on time every time. With your exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning and dispatching deliveries across Queensland metropolitan areas. You will be working a 4x4 rotating roster commencing 3pm – 3am. Key areas:
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and compliance Maintaining regular contact with our customer to keep them updated and well informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact them Monitoring drivers' fatigue to ensure that they are compliant and fit to drive Are you the one? You will be surrounded by a helpful and knowledgeable transport team where you will be provided on the job training and support to ensure your success. You can demonstrate:
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
