Transport Allocator

About this company
Our client is a large, well-known Logistics company that is currently seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator to join their Transport team
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm, based in Altona. Interviews commencing immediately for the right person
You will be responsible for
Manifesting driver paperwork
Allocating drivers, company and sub-contractor fleet
Planning and allocating pickup and delivery tasks to ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed in accordance with customer and legislative requirements.
Creating pallet dockets
Booking in customer freight with DC
Liaising with customers with a focus on a high level of customer service
Problem solving of warehousing and delivery issues
Assisting stock control

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have
2-3 years experience in fleet control/transport allocation
SAP & Kronos experience preferred
Strong work ethic
Reliable and self motivated
High standard of work
