What does the job look like? Based out of Truganina, our Retail team is seeking an Transport Allocator to work on a rotating roster from 04:00am - 04:00pm (7 days per fortnight). In this role, you will be working for one of Australia's largest supermarket chains, overseeing allocation and scheduling of Linfox fleet. Key Areas:
Determine and arrange the daily schedule and vehicle requirements according to volume and customers' requirementsLiaising with customers for load requirements ensuring enough time is allocated for staging and loadingMonitoring drivers' fatigue – this includes drivers declaration and run sheet checksDriving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all timesProviding excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional mannerGood knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation Are you the one? You possess a background in coordinating logistics and excel in a high-paced setting.You can demonstrate:
