Transport Allocator Heavy Haulage / Truck & Dog20 Years of Technical operation this business has stood its time. With a new acquisition and two businesses combining, this business has the success and fleet to become one of the largest Truck & Dog contractors in NSW. With over 20 staff, we are now looking for a proven Allocator that can support the fleet and drivers on major daily projects. You will be trained and supported throughout your training by another employee that has held the role for over 4 years. With a bright future ahead, the opportunity to step up and build a career internally is all for the taking. It's your prior experience and technical understanding of Transport allocation which is key to this role.Job Opportunity:You will support 35 drivers through the drop-off and pick-up of materials throughout the quarry and landfill operation. It's down to you to manage and support customers through excellent customer service. You will work with the internal department, GM, Service, Operation, and Sales to coordinate and best deliver exceptional results.Key Responsibilities:Allocate and schedule transport routes based on business requirements, vehicle availability, and Truck & Dog schedules.Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of material.Monitor and track fleet movements to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs.Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process, including rerouting and rescheduling as necessary.Communicate with internal teams (sales, customer service, warehouse) to ensure the smooth flow of operations.Maintain accurate records of vehicle allocations, routes, and schedules.Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and transportation regulations.Provide timely updates and reports to senior management on transport performance.Skills & Experience:Proven experience in Heavy Haulage / Truck & Dog allocation.Strong organisational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.Proficient in transport management software or scheduling tools.Knowledge of transport regulations and industry best practices.Team player.Office Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pmFlexible working hours if you are required for kid pick-up or drop-off.Salary Package:Base Salary - $110,000Full Training and supportCompany uniformWe can offer more if you have great job stability, and you have a proven history within this industry.
