Transport Administrator

We are currently looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to assist and work directly in the day-to-day operations of our business based in Regency Park. This is a part-time position with working days to be 3 days a week Wednesday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, with the ability to cover additional days as required with ample notice. About GKR Transport GKR Transport was established in 1985 and currently we have depots in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland. GKR specialises in the supply of transport, storage, and logistics services to a various range of industries. We have extensive experience in providing practical and affordable solutions to our clients in the automotive, industrial, heavy haulage, oil and gas, mining, and manufacturing sectors. The Role Check on-forwarders invoicing and provide on-forwarding quotes for other depots Manifesting Liaise directly with clients daily Receive and action any customer requests in a timely and efficient manner Invoicing
About You Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a warehouse/transport environment Strong communication skills that will allow you to liaise with varied customers A strong proactive customer service approach Reliable, can work independently with minimal supervision and be part of a team in delivering daily results Experience in bookings and coordination transport with approved carriers Understanding of operations process in a distribution company Experience using Office 365
