With branches in Richlands, Northgate (Brisbane), Townsville, and Cairns, we specialise in Boom, Scissor Lift, and Forklift hire.Due to significant growth in the business, we are seeking a Transport Administrator to join our Richlands Operations Team. Our transport business plays a key role in delivering professional, safe, and reliable service for our customers. Working in the hub of the business, you will contribute to our transport-related allocations and activities and solve daily logistical challenges.This is an entry-level position reporting to our Transport Supervisor and working closely with our Operations, Sales, and Service Teams. Experience in a similar Transport Administration role and access hire industry experience is desirable but not essential.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Contribute to the smooth running of the Height 4 Hire Office, maintaining a focus on Safety, Customer Service, Cost Saving, and Record Keeping.Contribute to transport allocations and solve daily logistical challenges.Contribute to the utilisation of our company trucks to enhance operational efficiencies and profitability.Engage external transport from approved suppliers, where necessary.Utilise the company's Transport Dispatch System and assist with its ongoing development.Assist customers with transport and hire-related enquiries.Answering telephone calls and taking equipment orders at times supporting the hire team.Accurately inputting orders and related information into our databases.Follow all reasonable and lawful directions given to you by the Company, including complying with policies and procedures as amended from time to time.Perform all duties to the best of your ability at all times.Use your best endeavours to promote and protect the interests of the Company.Contribute to working in a cohesive and enjoyable team environment.The successful applicant will have:Transport and Business Administration experience (desirable).Ability to perform in a high-volume transactional environment.Ability to foster and maintain a cohesive and productive team environment.Time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly and problem solve.A passion for Customer Service.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (with fellow staff and customers).Record keeping and reporting capabilities.A well-presented manner and positive attitude.Additional InformationWorking for Height 4 Hire, we are a family-owned and operated business providing safe, secure, and long-term employment for over 75 staff.
