This exciting project will commence construction in late 2024 and we are currently looking for an experienced Transmission / Stringing Superintendent to join the team on the HumeLink west project.HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states.
HumeLink is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.What will a day in this role look like:Actively participates in developing a construction HSE culture that integrates safety and environmental awareness as a natural part of the jobOversees the safe delivery of the stringing workEnsures that allocated resources remain productivePromotes proactive safety and environmental awareness for all personnel under your supervisionReports to the Construction Manager on all matters relating to quality elements of construction worksDirects subcontractorsWhat are we looking for you to bring to the team:Minimum of 3 years as a Stringing Supervisor or SuperintendentTertiary and industry qualifications or significant experience in a supervisory role for construction and engineering projectsExtensive experience in all aspects of stringingThorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirementsDriver's LicenceAbout UsUGL & CPB are well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
