Transmission Line - Stringing Supervisor - Billion Dollar ProjectElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
The Role Elecnor presents an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to join our team as a Stringing Supervisor on a 14/7 roster.
This role may be suitable for local candidates in Mildura or Wagga areas, as well as those interested in FIFO opportunities.
As a Stringing Supervisor, you'll collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to effectively deliver Project EnergyConnect.
On a daily basis, you'll actively monitor KPIs and stringing activities on designated work fronts, prioritizing safety through open communication, understanding, and active participation in safety and quality protocols to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
Primary Accountabilities Oversees the safe delivery of the stringing workEnsures that allocated resources remain productivePromotes proactive Safety and Environmental awareness for all personnel under your supervisionReports to the Stringing Superintendent all matters relating to the quality elements of construction worksDirects subcontractorsActively participates in developing a construction HSSE culture that makes safety and environmental awareness a natural part of the jobSkills & Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Stringing SupervisorTertiary and industry qualifications or significant experience in a supervisory role for construction and engineering projectsExtensive experience in all aspects of stringing operationsThorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhite Card (General Construction Induction Card)Driver's LicenseWe're building a diverse workforce.
