Following this review, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Transition Coordinator (POL3) to join Penola Catholic College from 2025 to 2027. As the Transition Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a transition program with our primary schools to assist incoming students in settling in. You will also organise the Year 7 Orientation Day, Camp, and Information Nights. Additionally, you will coordinate the transition from Year 7 into Year 8 and Year 8 into Year 9. As an innovative Teacher and Transition Coordinator, you will strive to create a learning environment that engages and extends our students, enabling all students to flourish. You will deliver a collaborative and consistent approach to supporting the diverse needs of our students. Please note an ongoing teaching appointment is attached to the position. About You To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice, understanding how students 'learn best'. You will have demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks and a capacity to provide leadership characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking, and innovation, holding team members to account where necessary. You will also be registered or have the ability to be registered with VIT. You will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. College campuses are situated in Glenroy, which caters for years 7 and 8, and the senior campus in Broadmeadows that features years 9 to 12, with a total college enrolment of approximately 1,500 students.
