The role is to undertake detailed engineering management and support to various Project Managers in project delivery.
You will play a pivotal role in driving the engineering function within the Class C Projects team (between $2m and $80m). You'll provide engineering oversight and hands-on support, ensuring seamless project delivery. Overseeing critical aspects such as technical coordination, procurement, material management, construction, and design, from project inception to close-out.
You can be based in our Eastern Creek or Newcastle depot with travel requirements to project sites once a month while they're in the Construction phase.
About you Degree qualification in relevant discipline or substantial industry experience in the delivery of large scale projects. High level of technical knowledge in the construction of substation assets. Proven to work well autonomously. High standard of communication and report writing skills, personal integrity and professionalism. Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Government policy guidelines, which govern safety, engineering design, environmental assessment for the implementation of engineering projects. Experience in the management of construction contracts. A current Drivers Licence.
