We boldly go.Job Summary:Trane in Queensland is hiring for a Graduate Sales Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing HVAC system related solutions.Responsibilities:Work alongside other Sales Managers as part of a strong team.Generate estimates and proposals for service work under the direction of the Sales Managers.Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team.Work cohesively in a team as well as on your own.Comfortable speaking to a wide audience, such as consultants and contractors equally.Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms.
During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum one (1) year experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred.Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.Must possess a valid driver's license.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs that help our employees thrive in both their professional and personal lives.
