Training Support Officer (Templater & Timetabler)Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster.Capita is the lead partner in the Fisher Training consortium who aim to transform and modernise the Royal Navy's shore-based training across 16 sites in the UK under Project Selborne.The Training Support Officer is responsible for providing specialist support, advice and guidance within relevant educational services and support (e.g., planning, enrolment, exams, careers, apprenticeship, digital and library services, SpLD, resettlement) to support the delivery of an outstanding learner experience.Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doing:Creating and producing the Long-Term training plan for all courses.Assisting in creating and scheduling course templates.Assisting, where required, in the updating of course templates as a result of change administered through the various contracted change mechanisms.Publishing course dates on the Joint Personnel Admin system.Providing the necessary levels of administrative support for visits, guest lecturers, external venues, and courses during the timetabling and planning process.What we're looking for:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Previous experience in an Administration/Coordination role, preferably within an education setting.Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.Experience within the military would be an advantage.Knowledge of databases such as JPA and TAFMIS would be an advantage but not essential.Proactive attitude with the ability to 'think outside the box'.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and experience of using databases.Must be able to be security cleared to UK SC level.About SelborneSelborne is a wide-scale, 12-year transformation of Royal Navy Training.
