THE OPPORTUNITY: Reporting to the Training Superintendent, the Training Supervisor Processing is responsible for providing training delivery and coordination to ensure staff have the necessary skills to deliver maximum performance.
You will play a key role in leading the Site based Training Team in delivering a contemporary, best practice developmental framework to support our great people.
You will have a "hands on" approach to training and be able to deliver "fit for purpose" training processes and procedures to optimise the capabilities of our people.
This is a permanent full-time position that operates on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support, execute and review PLS Learning Framework and Management Systems.
Provide exceptional leadership and development of the site Trainer/Assessors and mentorship of Line Trainers.
Working with departmental leadership, assist in developing professional development and upskill plans for operators.
Provide technical advice and on-site support in competency-based training requirements.
Build strong lasting relationships with site teams to ensure a forward-facing approach is adopted to training requirements in supporting capability development of the workforce.
Assist in scheduling and reporting of training related auditing processes.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders in delivering learning programs.
Provide recommendations on training programs to enhance production efficiency.
Review training and compliance documentation ensuring all required outcomes are met.
Directly support operations as required.
ABOUT YOU: Cert IV Training and Assessment (current).
Valid WA Driver's licence.
Willingness to undertake a full site medical and provide a current National Police Clearance.
Significant industry experience in Mineral Processing.
Experience in leading high performing teams.
Experience in utilising a Learning Management System (such as INX).
Knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to the processes.
Strong commitment to safety and the environment.
