New South Wales, Australia, 10 Belgrave Street, 2095 View on Map Post Date : February 27, 2024 Job ID 353011 Experience 3-5 Years Job Description This is a senior 2iC role within the Dive Centre Manly Leadership team reporting to the Owner/Director PRIME OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE: To ensure that high standards of education and customer service are established and maintained for all Instructors and Divemasters.  To manage and control all aspects of PADI and other training in line with agreed PADI & NSW Worksafe Standards.  To ensure professionalism and adherence to Dive Centre Manly (DCM) procedures by all Instructors & DM's. Guide and mentor Instructors/DM's to help improve performance. To collaborate with the Dive Centre Manly Retail Manager to ensure effective scheduling and smooth running of all Courses. To maintain Dive Training Centre facilities & equipment including training materials, hardware & software.  MAIN PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Exceptional Customer Service. Adherence to PADI and DCM procedures. Promotion of retail sales through training programs Course Sales, particularly continuing education & upper-level  Quality and standard of Course Instruction.  Induction & Orientation Dive Team Learning and Development of Instructors. Training Centre presentation and tidiness. Implementation of new courses and procedures  Growth of the IDC business TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Each task is important. The order they appear does not indicate priorities.)  Maintain a high level of customer service & personal presentation at all times. Keep the Training centre tidy and well presented.  Promote continuing education and Dive Centre activities. Assist with recruitment and scheduling of Instructors (liaising with Retail Manager) Ensure that Instructors follow PADI and Dive Centre procedures for all courses. Make recommendations for improvement of course procedures and content in line with PADI standards. Provide feedback to Instructors on performance. Provide or obtain further training where relevant. Ensure all hire gear is correctly accounted for and well maintained Maintenance of facilities, vehicles & equipment  Promotion of trips and events. Promotion of gear sales during courses. Recommendations for improvement of the business – in particular new courses. DESIRED QUALITIES, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 years as a PADI Instructor Minimum Staff Instructor with a desire to become PADI Course Director Has full working rights for Australia, visa's can be discussed for the right candidate 200+ Certifications  Knowledge & experience with equipment servicing (desirable) Full & Clean Driving License (can drive manual) Organised and effective communicator Have sufficient flexibility to undertake and take ownership of a range of tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr
