The Training Officer will work within a team to ensure all training aligns with program principles and collaborates with Department Practice and Business training units to meet defined learning outcomes.
What you'll be doing Design and develop blended learning materials for digital (ICT) adoption.
Create learner-centric digital experiences and resources.
Develop activities for virtual instructor-led training.
Deliver virtual training sessions for software applications.
Apply digital learning principles and stay updated with trends.
Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure effective training.
Incorporate a cultural perspective by working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives.
Monitor and report on training effectiveness, suggesting improvements as needed.
What you need to bring Experience in developing and delivering blended learning for complex ICT programs.
Proficiency in using Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.
Skills in designing and delivering virtual instructor-led training through MS Teams.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills for Training Needs Analyses.
Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and solve problems.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.
Quick learning ability for understanding technical IT solutions and creating training for non-technical users.
Bonus points for… Advanced Excel skills.
Experience in Agile ICT projects.
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent).
Experience in social services or public sector ICT projects.
Knowledge of Dynamics 365 platforms.
