Based at our campus at the Construction Training Centre in Salisbury, we are seeking a full-time Training Manager to manage our team supporting training services to our domestic students.
Our focus is on Government funded programs for apprentices, job seekers and school students, as well as fee-for-service programs including RPL, distance and online.
The Training Manager manages a small team and reports directly to the General Manager. The Training Manager participates in the senior leadership team and is encouraged to proactively seek continuous improvement in our service provision.
Key responsibilities:
Manage team supporting training and assessment for domestic students, including Apprentices, Job Seekers and VET in Schools
Manage State Government funding contracts in QLD, NSW and WA
Ensure timely reporting of AVETMISS data
Implement and monitor systems and processes to support learners and compliance
Monitor progress of students and effective delivery of training and assessment
Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in training services
Selection criteria:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar RTO role
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing Government funding contracts
Strong understanding of RTO compliance requirements at State and National levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Financial acumen in developing and managing KPIs and budgets
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Student Management Systems (ideally Axcelerate) and Learning Management Systems
Experience in AVETMISS reporting
Sound organizational, people management and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritise, delegate and manage tasks to meet deadlines
Qualifications relevant to the skills and knowledge required for this role
