What does the job look like? Linfox's Defence contract has an opportunity for a Training Manager based at either Moorebank, NSW; Amberley, QLD or Bandiana, Vic. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of training within the warehouse and distribution (W&D) sites supporting Joint Logistic Command for the Government and Defence Business unit. Key areas:
Ensure the operational training requirements are met for all sitesMange a group of full time and site based trainersEnsure training services are planned and coordinated to standards prescribed by LinfoxIdentification and understanding of Linfox training needs for all staff in the W&D contractManage the implementation and delivery of training programsEstablish and maintain relationships with external Defence organisations and key contacts Are you the one? Prior experience as a trainer within a warehousing and distribution environment (Defence environment highly desirable)Prior experience in vehicle training with a sound knowledge of Defence manual in regard to vehicle operationThorough knowledge of chain of responsibilityExperience managing multiple sites' training activitiesExperience in training and assessing safe operations of MHEAbility to take the lead with innovative approaches to continuous improvementStrong knowledge of the use of MHE within the warehouse environmentAt Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
