About the role The successful candidate will be directly responsible for driving the development of technical competencies, training programs, and providing technical expertise for our Technicians, our Indirect / Supply Only customers and Sub-Contractor teams for our ASSA ABLOY and Record products.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the role is responsible for: Company Technicians Collaborate with Service Managers & Technician Team Leads on skill gap analysis of Technicians & development of training programs to close skill gaps to ensure technical coverage for all regions Train Technician Team Leads on education soft skills, (teaching, communication, presentation, student outcomes, etc.)
to enable them to train technicians (Train-the-Trainer) Indirect / Supply Only Customers & Subcontractors Training identified Indirect / Supply Only customers & subcontractors on ASSA ABLOY / Record products for both installation & servicing Training Programs & Infrastructure Collaborate with Compliance resource (BPO) & Training Program resource (temporary) to develop & build out core training program infrastructure, processes & procedures Ensure each facility has appropriate training demos / equipment, Technician competency maps are maintained, defined training structures are supported & overall organisation technical competency is improved and maintained Skills & experience Strong technical knowledge of AA and (to a lesser degree) competitor products Strong collaboration with all teams, customers, and sub-contractors Strong communication skills & ability to influence others Benefits Onsite parking, mobile phone, and laptop Work with a global organisation with strong industry growth prospects Be part of a market-leading team Ability to travel domestically and internationally AAES is an equal-opportunity employer.
