About the Opportunity We are building a $500 million glass manufacturing and remanufacturing facility in Yatala just south of Brisbane.
The factory represents the largest investment we have ever made, enabling the recycling of up to 200,000 tonnes of Queensland's glass annually and producing 1 billion bottles a year.
We are building next to our box factory and beverage can plants.
This will create a beverage container precinct to further support of customers and a range of new career pathways for our staff.
The project is expected to be operational in 2025.
What you will do  The Training Manager will be instrumental in designing, coordinating, and managing all training programs related to the opening of our new glass plant.
This role requires someone who can build a training infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring that all new hires are well-prepared to operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with our high standards for quality and productivity.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a tailored training experience that supports the plant's startup phase and sets the stage for long-term success.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Conduct assessment to identify training needs, gaps of current materials and training tools available focussing on the specifics requirements of the new plant Training Program.
Create and deliver tailored training programs that address both mechanical and technological competencies in glass manufacturing, utilising a blend of virtual technology, demonstration machines, and hands-on training Design and develop the new Glass Training Program modules and contents, drawing on current program material available.
Develop the New Hire training schedule, mapping out the pathway for the first 6 months of new hires joining the new Glass plant.
Work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to align training goals with production needs and ensure seamless coordination.
Ensure all legislative training requirements are met.
Your Experience:  Proven experience in a Training Manager role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial settings developing and managing large training program Ability to assess and maintain training IT systems/Platforms Proficiency with virtual training tools and the ability to manage in-person training on both demo machines and live equipment.
Strong capability to manage project and deliver results on time Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work across departments and with a variety of stakeholders Certification in Training and assessment would be highly regarded Desirable Training experience in Manufacturing or industrial environment Good network with a wide range of training providers Knowledge and experience with the application of Learning Management Systems to ISO 14001 standard Ready to make a difference?
