Based at our campus at the Construction Training Centre in Salisbury, we are seeking a full-time Training Manager to manage our team supporting training services to our domestic students. Our focus is on Government funded programs for apprentices, job seekers and school students, as well as fee-for-service programs including RPL, distance and online.
The Training Manager manages a small team and reports directly to the General Manager. The Training Manager participates in the senior leadership team and is encouraged to proactively seek continuous improvement in our service provision.
Key responsibilities: Manage team supporting training and assessment for domestic students, including Apprentices, Job Seekers and VET in SchoolsManage State Government funding contracts in QLD, NSW and WAEnsure timely reporting of AVETMISS dataImplement and monitor systems and processes to support learners and complianceMonitor progress of students and effective delivery of training and assessmentDevelop and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in training servicesSelection criteria: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar RTO roleDemonstrated knowledge and experience in managing Government funding contractsStrong understanding of RTO compliance requirements at State and National levelsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFinancial acumen in developing and managing KPIs and budgetsExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Student Management Systems (ideally Axcelerate) and Learning Management SystemsExperience in AVETMISS reportingSound organizational, people management and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritise, delegate and manage tasks to meet deadlinesQualifications relevant to the skills and knowledge required for this rolePlease submit your resume and a covering letter addressing the selection criteria above.
