Explore more on Cubic.com.Job Details:DATE: 21 Aug, 2024SUMMARY:The Cubic Defence Australia (CDAus) Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Training Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the CDAus Registered Training Organisation, which includes overseeing the development, implementation, and delivery of training within the CDAus RTO framework.
This broad role involves managing the scope of registered training, managing trainers, ensuring compliance with national standards, and continuously developing the RTO to improve the quality of training delivery and educational outcomes.Reporting to the Director for Strategic Development, the role is based in Townsville, North Queensland; however, training delivery is conducted nationally in both face-to-face and digital formats.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee, manage, and deliver training, assessment, training compliance, and manage training staff.Develop and manage the CDAus RTO Scope of registered training, including the development and management of training Quality Assurance under the CDAus Quality Management System, and conduct audits to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.Manage and oversee CDAus Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools, integration, change management, and content to provide administrative, instructional, and user support to training managers, stakeholders, and students, ensuring RTO compliance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) requirements for national Vocational Education and Training (VET).Manage the RTO's candidates and students, ensuring effective communication that supports the training delivery method and contributes to student learning outcomes and success.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, industry partners, peak bodies, client organisations such as the Australian Defence Force, government representatives, and Cubic management and staff.Represent Cubic at industry forums, stakeholder engagement events, and government or industry body functions as required to support the development of the RTO.Perform financial management functions in relation to the RTO in accordance with Cubic's financial procedures and One Cubic Authority matrix for managing delegations.Support other training development, delivery, and management tasks within CDAus as required.Manage the RTO's compliance and development of cybersecurity practices in line with Cubic's corporate IT frameworks.BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:Extensive understanding and/or experience of the VET sector and ASQA compliance.Cert IV in Training and Assessment.Experience in the simulation and training sector is highly regarded.Experience in the ADF is advantageous.A mindset that embraces technology, supported by technical qualifications or a strong aptitude to understand the application of technology, particularly digital technology, to the training sector.The RTO Training Manager must be an Australian citizen.The RTO Manager must be able to hold an Australian Defence Force security clearance and an industry BlueCard.Worker Type: Employee#J-18808-Ljbffr
