Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history.

Purpose of the Role:
To manage and oversee training programs for FGJV, identifying the training and employee development needs of companies.
This includes creating training materials and implementing staff training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Training and Development or related field preferred
Cert IV in Training & Assessment
White Card
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a similar role - preferably in the construction industry on a project of similar size
Recognised experience in overseeing the operationalisation of training function its initiatives, and establishing clear processes and implementation plans
Proven experience in senior learning and development roles within the construction or project management industries with site-based experience.
Experience with the national training systems and training delivery within a regulated quality framework.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a transformative Training function that aligns with organisational site requirements.
Manage the design and implement learning programs, training programs, initiatives, and curriculum to address identified skill gaps and support ongoing employee development
Manage and further develop the onboarding process, to ensure consistent delivery to all stakeholders, their roles, responsibilities and expectations while working at FGJV
Conduct reviews of training and assessment materials according to HSE and Project policies and procedures.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to positively drive engagement, motivate teams and influence culture.
Ensure that participants understand and meet their regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to competency-based training.
Seek input from the department heads where necessary in order to provide specific technical support.
Manage the learning management system (LMS) and other training tools to organise, track, and deliver training content efficiently
Organise assessments and conduct verification of competencies as required.
Audits of training facilities and advise on equipment and learning resource requirements.
Knowledge of HSE legislation, project systems, new training developments and methodologies to enable the incorporation of innovations into training programs.
Manage reports, records and training budgets
Working with employees, the human resources teams and management to ensure the achievement of training objectives
Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programmes
Manage the conduct of Training Needs Analysis for site departments and deliver consistent feedback to teams, ensuring they are provided sufficient information to enable them to actively maintain current competency and compliance.
Provide leadership and management competencies and/or experience, to lead a team and develop a training team structure to support on all site activities
Identifying and implementing a wide range of training gaps and techniques to improve efficiency and returns on investment
Managing employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programmes
