Cross River Rail (CRR) is the largest public transport project currently underway in South East Queensland. It will set the foundation for a world-class, integrated public transport system that will transform Queensland Rail and the way we operate.
We have an opportunity for a
Training Integration Advisor
to support the end-to-end training requirements for the implementation of the European Train Control System (ETCS), the broader Cross River Rail (CRR) program and Ready for Growth programmes for the Network and Assets Training Teams.
This role will be a fixed term Queensland Rail employment contract until 30.6.2026 and you will be based out of the new training facility at Sunshine Depot or the training Centre at Acacia Ridge until that facility is moved to Sunshine Depot. Travel to other depots and facilities may be required on a planned basis. This role has two direct reports to support outputs.
About the role:
This role is responsible for understanding potential training needs, and project managing training related outputs, while working across business functions to develop, integrate and assure program, enterprise and learning governance requirements.
You will draw upon your critical thinking, learning design and project management skills to support future training delivery for this project including:
Advising stakeholders on learning design, development, delivery, assurance; and project management to meet project deliverables according to legislative, enterprise and learning governance frameworks.
Development of fit for purpose learning related project and training artifacts, including processes and systems development to achieve project outcomes.
Interpret and clarify training design to facilitate the creation of Learning Management System (LMS) objects for quality training and learning assurance.
Negotiate and advocate for required learning resources, applying your strong influencing skills.
Partner and consult with stakeholders across business discipline, regulatory areas and contractor entities to support key deliverables and ensure their interests are represented.

Demonstrated success in learning design and working with a variety of stakeholders in a complex environment to assure legislative, enterprise and learning governance is met, as well as:
Attention to detail and the ability to rapidly gain business and project knowledge.
A high level of problem solving, change management, consultation and negotiating skills.
Continuous improvement mindset to achieve successful project outcomes.
Excellent communication and engagement skills with the ability to develop sound relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.
