We will be working to provide Training Facilitators who will in turn train the polling staff for the upcoming Federal Election.
About the role: As a skilled facilitator, you will have the ability to quickly comprehend and deliver a standard training with confidence and observe comprehension and competence of the participants.
You will be supported by a Training Subject Matter Expert who will respond to technical questions and support the delivery of the training sessions.
As we don't know the date of the election, successful candidates will need have flexible work schedules and availability at a very short notice.
You will need to be happy to go with any last minute changes to working hours and destinations.
Key position responsibilities: Undertake online, self-directed and virtual training ahead of the election in preparation for the delivery of training sessions for polling officials Deliver face to face training sessions to polling officials across Western Australia Prepare and/or setup training venues in accordance with the guidance, this may include transporting training materials and liaising with venue contacts Communicate any concerns or issues to AEC staff following each training session Complete and maintain all training records accurately Candidates must have flexibility around dates as the election date is to be confirmed Experience delivering training or teaching materials to diverse groups Other Essential Requirements Extensive Training or Teaching (I.E Certificate IV in Training & Assessment) Australian citizenship.
18 years or over.
Access to a mobile phone and email.
Access to a registered and comprehensively insured personal motor vehicle.
Own laptop with appropriate HDMI connectors.
Character clearance, including a police check is required.
Ability to travel to multiple locations.
Flexibility Full and current driver's licence.
Must not be or be seen to be publicly active in political affairs and not intend to publicly engage in such activities during your employment with the AEC.
Complete learning and development relevant to the role or classification as required or directed.
