About the Role Accell, is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO#32213) providing Rail Industry training. We work with individuals and employers to deliver tailored training needs across the rail industry sector.With offices in Townsville and Rockhampton, our head office is located in Nambour, Queensland, where this role is based.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Student Enrolments:Process student enrolments efficiently, verify eligibility criteria, manage enrolment documents, and maintain accurate records in student management systems (e.g., aXcelerate or similar platforms).Student Records Management:Ensure accurate maintenance of student records, including attendance, progression, and course completion, adhering to compliance requirements and ensuring timely interventions when necessary.Customer Service:Act as the first point of contact for student and stakeholder inquiries, providing professional and friendly support via email, phone, and in-person interactions, and escalating issues as needed.Preparation of quotes for onsite training.Finance: organise, co-ordinate and monitor invoicing and paymentsTraining Coordination:Scheduling training sessions, booking venues, coordinating trainer availability, and ensuring all necessary resources are available.Booking trainer travel requirements ie: accommodation, flights, car hire etc.Learning Resources:Preparation of all learning and assessment materials to trainers and students as required.Monitoring and preparation of training room.Compliance Monitoring:Maintain compliance with RTO standards, AVETMISS reporting, and ASQA guidelines. Participate in audits and assist in preparing and managing required documentation.Process Improvement:Identify and implement opportunities to enhance administrative processes, ensuring efficiency and data accuracy.Trainer and Assessor Support:Provide administrative support to trainers and assessors.System Management:Support the implementation and monitoring of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Management Systems (SMS), ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.Skills and Competencies VET Industry Knowledge:Strong understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and relevant standards for RTO operations.Attention to Detail:Exceptional accuracy in handling student records, compliance documentation, and data management tasks.Technical Proficiency:Competence in using student management systems (e.g., aXcelerate), learning management systems and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).Organisational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, trainers, and stakeholders professionally.Customer Service:Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach to resolving inquiries and building positive relationships with stakeholders.Team Collaboration:Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals.Problem-Solving:Proactive and resourceful in addressing challenges and improving processes.Compliance Understanding:Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including ASQA standards, AVETMISS reporting, and privacy legislation.Continuous Improvement:Enthusiasm for contributing to process improvements and organisational efficiency.What We Offer A dynamic and supportive work environment.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Onsite car parkingOffice hours : Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pmOnly applicants with the right to work in Australia will be considered for this role.
