This role is being advertised as both ongoing and non-ongoing, with the employment type to be determined in negotiation with the preferred candidate and the NIAA delegate.
Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 12 months, with possibility of extension up to a maximum period of two years.
A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment, however this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement.

The Opportunity: The Training Coordinator position is within the Education and Communications team.
We manage communications; create and maintain publications in print and online; and coordinate and support learning activities.
The responsibilities of the position include the following: We're looking for someone who takes pride in exceptional customer service for our training participants, partners, and suppliers.
The pace is fast, so you need to be efficient and organised.
Responsibilities include managing requests for training activities; scheduling and coordinating events; procuring suppliers; registering participants; organising travel; maintaining participation records; and compiling statistical reporting.
You will also be responsible for developing operational standards and processes for all aspects of training event coordination.
We need someone who is a good communicator and record keeper, so good written and oral communication skills are a must, as is cultural sensitivity.
Make sure you tell us about your skills in data entry, data management, and reporting, as they're a key part of this role.
You should know your way around the MS Office suite - Excel, Teams, and SharePoint in particular - and be willing to learn new systems and processes.
Experience in coordinating and managing events is essential, as is experience in government procurement.
