At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training. 1 x Ongoing Full Time opportunity Our team is located in Tamworth Salary ranges from $106,025 to $117,363 plus employers' contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading About the roleSupports the delivery of integrated support services for apprentices, trainees and their employers, fosters engagement with stakeholders and promotes and markets vocational education training and employment programs and services across the regional area. Engage with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities, to inform of opportunities provided by TSNSW, including Aboriginal Programs and local training and employment opportunities. Have ongoing dedication to ensure that programs and services meet the needs of Vocational Education and Training stakeholders. The ability to effectively provide dependable support to VET stakeholders in a challenging and changing environment. The ability to easily develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders to support the implementation of a contemporary commissioning approach. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role This position is targeted to the employment of an Aboriginal person and is authorised by the Department's EEO Management Plan in accordance with Part 9A of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
