Policelink is a large non-urgent contact centre that provides service to the Queensland community. We are staffed by Client Service Officers, Team Leaders, Police Officers and a range of corporate staff who all contribute to the delivery of service to the Queensland community and Queensland Police Service.


The core capability requirements for this role are: Provide leadership and direction to plan, coordinate and facilitate training programs in area of responsibility in support of improved professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency of staff and the Service in accordance with relevant service and national standards.Manage coordination of education and training including travel for members, facilities, including purchasing and maintenance of office equipment and other assets.Identify, develop, and implement strategies and provide advice on efficient coordination of training needs and activities relevant to area of responsibility.Coordinate and manage projects involving police officers and staff members to ensure the development of professional and effective education products and to ensure completion of projects within negotiated time frames.Identify and monitor trends and emerging issues pertaining to education and training.Provide the professional expertise necessary for consultation and advisory services for senior managers in relation to the implementation of best practice with innovative approaches to the evaluation of education and training.Cultivate relationships, establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external clients, stakeholders and service providers in order to identify efficiencies, consistency and enhance service delivery outcomes relating to education and training.Manage and co-ordinate, in liaison with the Manager and senior staff, the preparation of the budget and finances, including the monitoring of expenditure and provide timely advice to management. Role Requirements: Qualification: There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, formal qualifications in Assessment and Training (e.g. Certificate IV or higher) or accredited tertiary qualification in adult education would be highly regarded. Other: Intrastate travel may be required. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
