Responsibilities
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace while fostering a positive and engaged workforce. Your responsibilities will include:

Food Safety and Quality: Develop and implement food safety and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements to all employees.
Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including local, state, and federal laws.
Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all training activities, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
Incident Management: Investigate and document food safety incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in food safety and quality systems and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in food science, or a related field.
Certified Food Safety Professional (CFSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on food safety and quality.
Strong understanding of food safety principles and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
