About the Role We are currently seeking a Training Compliance Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our online courses in the food and hospitality industry comply with regulatory standards across Australia, Canada, and the United States. The Training Compliance Manager will work closely with various stakeholders within Moncel, including the leadership team, trainers and assessors, technical resources, course developers, and marketing personnel. This role is embedded within the Product team, underscoring its strategic importance in aligning product development with regulatory compliance and market needs.
What You'll Be Doing Overseeing the compliance of current and future online food service courses with the regulations set by regulatory bodies. Preparing for and facilitating audits across all operational regions. Reviewing and approving marketing materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Consulting with the Technology and Product departments to ensure new products meet compliance requirements. Performing quality assurance checks on training and assessment materials. Acting as the primary contact for government and regulatory bodies. Managing compliance applications and approval processes for new and revised courses. Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures. Providing compliance training and support to other functions within Moncel. Maintaining an up-to-date compliance calendar and managing compliance tasks. What You Have Deep knowledge of ASQA compliance requirements and processes. Experience with general regulatory compliance, such as ANSI, ANAB, and various government bodies. Familiarity with regulations in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Project management skills to oversee compliance projects. Ability to manage compliance documentation and data using document management systems. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) for course delivery and compliance. Experience preparing for and facilitating audits by regulatory bodies. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents. Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards. Your Experience 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance management, preferably within the Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) context. Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of documentation and compliance data efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A track record of working independently and proactively, showing high levels of motivation to take initiative on compliance projects. Comprehensive knowledge of the VET sector, including an in-depth understanding of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), training package requirements, and specific compliance obligations for RTOs. Ability to interpret and apply information from legal and regulatory documents accurately, ensuring that Moncel's course offerings and compliance practices align with current laws and standards. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for effective collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the leadership team, trainers and assessors, course developers, and government representatives. Experience with various software and systems relevant to compliance management, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms like Salesforce, and project management tools like Jira. A strong focus on quality and detail, ensuring that all compliance documentation, course materials, and reports meet the highest standards of accuracy and thoroughness. Your Qualifications A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. Relevant certifications in compliance management or related areas are a plus. An Australian Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is highly desirable, indicating a formal qualification in delivering training and conducting assessments in line with VET sector standards.
