What we are looking for:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced trainer and assessor to join our team as a Training Business Partner. You will work across teams in Council to drive change and upskill our workforce.
What your day will look like:
Partnering with departments identifying training needs and future planning. Identify, design, develop & deliver in house training content relating to WHS requirements. Developing centralised approaches to competency checks and identifying process improvement opportunities. Coordinating the Verification of Current Competency process for applicable plant and maintaining those records. Identifying and working with suitable training providers as necessary. What you'll need for success:
Certificate IV (AQF Level 4) in Training & Assessment Proven experience in a training environment, ideally across a variety of industries. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of employees The ability to work autonomously and self motivate while including and informing the Learning and Development team A high level of organisation and prioritisation skills Benefits of Working with Council
