What You'll Do
We currently have a 12 month maximum term contract opportunity for an experienced
Training and Onboarding Manager
to lead our organisational efforts for the SIXT Australia business.
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, SIXT, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective training strategy that aligns with our business objectives. Your primary focus will be identifying training needs, designing relevant programs, training execution and assessing their impact on employee performance and loyalty. You will use your creativity, design, and facilitation skills to onboard and execute training for new hires, ensuring they become confident team members and enhance customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. You will also be responsible for prioritised project specific training and work with key stakeholders to conduct training need analysis and understand business requirements.
This role offers hybrid work arrangements from our Sydney CBD and Sydney Olympic Park offices with the flexibility to work from home as agreed and required. There may be a requirement to travel across our SIXT site locations as part of the role.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Design, develop and implement effective training programs tailored for diverse roles across the business with a primary focus on our onboarding program and secondary on project rollout training.
Collaborate with P&C function and key stakeholders to assess training needs and objectives.
Liaise with Global SIXT and NRMA resources to utilise and align their training program with SIXT Australia.
Leverage a blended learning approach that includes e-learning, virtual sessions, self-directed learning as well as face to face workshops, sessions and modules.
Develop and manage the training plan for onboarding and prioritised projects.
Conduct a training needs analysis mapped for various roles across the business.
Manage training and onboarding budget.
Lead onboarding (including orientation and role-specific) training sessions, whether in-person or virtually, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Measure and report on defined quality and performance competency levels are met following training.
Ensure acknowledgement tracking for mandatory training.
Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
Flex and adapt to changing needs across the organisation and the team, leaning in to assist where needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to continuously improve our training outcomes.
What You'll Bring
BS degree/certificate in education and/or training or relevant field (preferred).
Strong instructional design skills across a variety of platforms and tools.
Experience in training assessment.
Excellent content creation skills tailored to various roles.
Skilled facilitator, both online and face to face.
Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal abilities including the ability to facilitate with confidence, presence and creativity.
A passionate learner who seeks to continually develop your own knowledge and skills.
Ability to prioritise and deliver in high-pace environments.
Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
Strong relationship and planning ability.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
