About The Role
The Training and Development Manager role is integral to developing and implementing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with our business objectives and future needs.

You will implement strategies to enhance skills and productivity across the organisation, fostering continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Create and execute a learning and development strategy aligned with regional goals.
Capability Building: Enhance organisational capability to meet future business needs.
Needs Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify training needs at all levels.
Program Implementation: Lead the implementation of development initiatives for salaried and wage staff.
Drive and improve Thiess' Future Talent Programs.
Program Monitoring: Continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of training and talent programs.
Thiess Institute Initiatives: Execute initiatives within the Thiess Australia East region.
About You
The Training and Development Manager role requires a minimum of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with higher learning qualifications being desirable. Candidates should have extensive experience in a Training Superintendent or similar role, with at least five years of site training and compliance experience.
Additionally, comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards is essential.
