Training and Development Coordinator Children's ServicesTraining and Development Coordinator Children's Services (12.5 hours)City Mission is seeking an individual passionate about Children's emotional wellbeing. The Training and Development Coordinator Children's Services coordinates and manages the development of training materials, a schedule of training events, systems to assess and manage registration of trained facilitators, and the evaluation of program material. The role includes delivery of programs and will include a mix of online training system support and face-to-face delivery. Working as part of a team is critical in this role, as well as showing initiative and flexibility.Children's Services offer educational facilities and community organisations, families and children a range of educative, wellbeing programs relating to change, grief, loss, worry, and emotional literacy.This position and salary will be based on the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. As a Public Benevolent Institution, Launceston City Mission employees are eligible for salary packaging through our approved provider.Please address the selection criteria below in your application:Essential Qualifications/Experience:Diploma or higher in counselling, education, or a related tertiary qualification.Experience in supporting the emotional and well-being needs of children.Experience in facilitating group programs and adult learning settings.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Current Working with Vulnerable People Card and National Police Check or willingness to obtain.Desirable Qualifications/Experience:Experience or demonstrated capacity to work within an organisation adopting a Christian ethos.Experience in delivering support to children with complex needs.Experience working with children within the education system.Proven ability to maintain positive professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.Success in delivering public speaking engagements.Positive history of adhering to organisational policy and procedures.Please send your application addressing the selection criteria and your ability to effectively perform the primary tasks above to the Manager People & Culture, Launceston City Mission, PO Box 168, Launceston, or upload it to the SEEK website.Applications close Monday 18th November at 9am.
