Location: Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs/QueenslandWe're changing the way Australia generates its energy, are you ready for a change? The Project UGL and CPB Contractors have been awarded the early works contract to support Powerlink's delivery of CopperString 2032. This $5 billion iconic project will initially be approximately 840 kilometres of new transmission line running from just south of Townsville to Mount Isa that will connect Queensland's North West Minerals Province to the national electricity grid. The project scope includes:500 kilovolt (kV) transmission line from just south of Townsville to Hughenden330kV transmission line from Hughenden to Cloncurry220kV transmission line from Cloncurry to Mount Isa, up to six new substation sites.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Safety Training Advisor to join our team to support the delivery of the Copperstring 2032 project. In this position, you will support the training function, provide coordination of training practices, systems, and procedures on the project.What will a day in this role look like:Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of project training programs.Develop training programs for project employees.Facilitate training programs for project employees.Administer training programs for project employees.Conduct routine reviews and seek feedback of training programs to continually improve the program.Evaluate, investigate, and gather information that will address inadequacies concerning training matters.Investigate training options for JV employees.Support contractors with training requirements on site.Identify additional training programs that will benefit the project.The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
