An opportunity has opened for an experienced Training Advisor to join our Tanami team. Reporting to the Training Superintendent, the Training Advisor will provide learning and development services, including the provision of competency-based training and assessment packages.
This is a permanent role based at Tanami and offers an 8/6 FIFO roster with points of hire available from Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, and Alice Springs. Responsibilities As a Training Advisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Planning, Developing, and Reviewing Training Programs: Effectively plan, develop, deliver, and review training programs, learning materials, and assessment resources. Training Reports: Routinely generate and analyze training reports to identify training needs and improvements. Toolbox Meetings: Coordinate and present at toolbox meetings. Training Records: Ensure training records are accurately maintained and entered into the Training Management System. Mentoring: Mentor Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Crew Trainers to assist with training activities. Audits: Conduct regular audits on Business Partners to ensure training compliance with their scope of contracted work. Safe Work Practices: Maintain a high standard of safe work practices. About You Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (or working towards this qualification) Extensive experience working within the mining industry Strong computer skills: Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to work with progressive technology Knowledge & understanding of the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF): Understanding of the Resource Industry and Infrastructure Training Packages and Competency-Based Training methods Ability to work both as a team member and independently Strong communication skills: Ability to interact clearly and confidently with key stakeholders Applications close October 31, 2024.
