This dynamic role involves you working in the Career Transition Assistance Program (CTA) which supports mature-aged job seekers to build confidence and develop skills to change career or obtain a competitive edge in the local labour market.
JobLab is ETC's non-accredited training program.
The role is based in our Tamworth office and regular travel will be required across the beautiful New England region.
The Role - A Day in the Life of a Training Advisor As a (non-accredited) Training Advisor you will leverage your experience to deliver training in an accessible, fun and practical way that connects with a diverse audience.
You will engage with participants to help them identify their strengths and capabilities and support them to develop the skills and behaviours to become 'job-ready' and obtain employment.
This is done through facilitation of targeted training and workshops and provision of assistance with resume preparation and the career transition process.
Salary - $64,000 – $71,000 per annum + Super + leave loading (pro rata for part time hours) Your Key Responsibilities will include; Conduct CTA programs in group training settings Help participants develop skills for sustainable employment Promote the program to providers and engage potential participants Build and maintain stakeholder relationships Provide excellent customer service to all participants and stakeholders Ensure the CTA program meets compliance requirements and contractual obligations Effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders and manage time management Stay informed about the local labour market and the Employment Services Industry Criteria for Success Experience in interactive training delivery and administration Current Driver's Licence A recent, clear National Police Check A current NSW Working With Children Check Why work for ETC We pride ourselves on offering a positive work culture and environment for employees to achieve their best.
