Training Administrator

Details of the offer

Keltbray is seeking a Training Administrator to join our Normanton office. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all employees, from site staff to directors, receive the necessary training to excel in their positions.
You will have the valuable support of our Administrative/QHSE Team, and we welcome your fresh perspective and enthusiasm to help shape this role. Your initiative will be key in creating an effective point of contact for all training inquiries and requirements.
Duties We are looking for someone who can use the current processes and systems in place and develop this further using your own initiative and experience to conduct effective methods in carrying out the below tasks. Essentially, you'll manage a matrix which lists every employee, their current training certs/qualifications and when they come up for renewal. You'll also liaise with Project management teams to ensure new training courses are arranged for employees who are moving into different roles or taking on different responsibilities. The role is admin heavy therefore you'll need to be strong at time management and organisation. Most of your time will be spent ensuring the matrix is up to date and any new or renewed tickets are filed electronically on the training database. An understanding of substation industry training would be great, if not, experience working in booking training within a large company would be required. You might be an administrator or document controller looking for something a bit different. You will be responsible for submitting claims via our training funding portal for applicable courses. Sending Weekly Safety Bulletins for site & offices & saving the returned sign off sheets in correct location. Ensuring equipment e.g., FLT is within service dates/LOLER inspection dates and arrange bookings for these when due. Gathering our waste transfer notes for all locations. PPE ordering for all Keltbray-IDEC employees. The role is likely to expand into different administrative duties which may change overtime depending on company needs and will require your ability to adapt and learn new skills. Skills and experience Proven experience in an administrative role is essential. Proficiency in using Office software. Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Good communication skills and professional phone etiquette. Equal opportunities Keltbray are an equal opportunities employer, and we are determined to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, age disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status or race, or is disadvantaged by conditions or requirements which cannot be shown to be justifiable.
