What we are looking for: Trainers with an Assessing and Training Qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g. CiLD)Experience of teaching, coaching, assessing and/or presenting to groups of adultsPeople who are passionate, adaptable and engagingBe a car owner and driver with insurance to cover business use (mileage paid); or have access to suitable public or private transportAn enhanced DBS check is a requirement for this role.About the Role: Deliver training courses and conduct assessments to a professional and consistent standard in accordance with St John Ambulance requirementsMaintain own subject and professional competence in accordance with organisational requirementsBuilding security, opening and closing venues and lone workingWork with permanent staff, casual workers and volunteers to maintain good relationships and high standards of training and assessingPilot new initiatives in training when requiredAccurate completion and prompt submission of all relevant course documentationAbout Us: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of over 1,700 employees and over 30,000 volunteers, united by our goal of saving lives through essential first aid services, training and campaigning.St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid.We will consider applications from Trainee Trainers if you do not hold the relevant qualifications. St John Ambulance will provide all the required training. Whilst training, the salary will be reduced but will be increased once qualifications are obtained.
