Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor – Trade Development to join the Training team and facilitate the Trade Development training provision for Macmahon employees and potentially client employees.
About the role Support the alignment and standardisation of training content, and assessment material and processes across Macmahon.
Provide technical expertise for the development and implementation of training packages.
Support the use of training systems including Clous Assess and Success Factors and provide guidance on their uses.
Maintain training and vocational competency and participate in professional development as required.
Identify opportunities to reduce spend where possible, whilst adhering to set budgets.
About you Mechanical trade qualification, preferably Heavy Diesel or similar.
Current Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
Excellent computer skills (MS packages) and ability to learn new programs.
Have undertaken at least 3 years' experience as a supervisory tradesperson or minimum 2 years leading hand.
Broad mechanical and electrical knowledge in earthmoving or mining equipment, with minimum of 5 years practical post trade experience.
Knowledge in use of Caterpillar programs (ET, SISWEB).
Competence in hydraulics and schematic reading and interpretation.
Assembly and disassembly procedures.
