We are seeking an experienced and professional Trainer/Assessor to support our Oakleigh depot, along with assistance at our other locations as required.
Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, the Trainer/Assessor works closely with our Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Operations Team and Drivers to deliver a range of training and assessment activities.
Trainers/Assessors ensure our Bus Drivers are confident, competent and compliant in their roles and follow operational procedures.
Main Responsibilities: The analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of a range of programs;Delivering classroom, on-road and development training that contributes to a culture of safety, continuous improvement and customer-centredness;Ensuring all training and on-road assessments are completed in a manner that meets the requirements of CDC and relevant external bodies;Providing regular and specific feedback to both employees and line managers on individual driver performance as well as broader driver workforce performance issues.Skills & Experience: Current MR Licence and Driving Certificate; HR Licence would be well regardedPrevious bus driving experience (desirable) with an exemplary safety and customer service recordPrevious experience as a TrainerTrain the Trainer certification (or willingness to undertake)Passionate about health and safety and providing a memorable customer experienceDemonstrated ability to coach and mentor others in a range of settingsExcellent interpersonal, group communication and presentation skills within a diverse workforceExcellent teamwork, workload management and problem-solving skillsIntermediate IT and administration skills, including proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Sound understanding of adult learning principlesTo apply for this position, please submit your Resume and Cover Letter, using "Quick Apply" now.
