About the role This role will join the Competency Training team in Gladstone and will be reporting directly to the Training Manager. You will be responsible for delivering and developing quality training to customers in accordance with all relevant company policies and the standards for Registered Training Organisations. Key Responsibilities: Training and Assessment - Delivering nationally recognised qualifications Contribute to development of programs and resource materials Participate in moderation and validation Provide ongoing support to leaners Due to an increase in demand for high quality training, we are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Trainers/Assessors who are capable of delivering any of the following: Short courses White card - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry Confined spaces Undertake confined space rescue Working at Heights Maintain chainsaws Fell trees manually Cut materials with a hand-held chainsaw Operate a gantry or overhead crane Operate a light vehicle Operate and maintain a four-wheel drive vehicle Conduct operations with integrated tool carrier Conduct hydraulic excavator operations Conduct wheel loader operations Conduct tracked dozer operations High Risk Licence to perform Dogging Licence to perform Rigging basic/intermediate/advanced level Licence to perform Scaffolding basic/intermediate/advanced Licence to operate a forklift truck Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes) Qualifications Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations Certificate III in Process Plant Operations Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety Certificate IV in Civil Construction About you The successful candidate will be based in Gladstone, with travel to other areas as required. There is likely to be a mixture of classroom and workplace-based training and assessment, which will also vary, depending on the discipline. Students may differ from more experienced workers in industry to young job-seekers and career starters.
