Oasis Youth Services Central Coast Hunter partners with Salvation Army Eva Burrows College to deliver quality accredited vocational training to young people and long-term unemployed in the Hunter and Central Coast region.
About the roleWe are seeking a values-driven and proactive Trainer and Assessor to deliver high-quality training programs, including the delivery of classroom-based and supervision of students' work placement.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Wyong NSW.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Labour Market Industry Award Grade 2.
You will successfullyPlan, design and schedule vocational training courses.Develop, adapt and implement assessments including recognition of prior learning.Monitor student progress and maintain relevant training records.Mark submitted assessments within the required timeframe, providing meaningful feedback to the learner.Work collaboratively with stakeholders to determine priorities and develop integrated solutions that deliver key outcomes.You will haveTAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.Relevant community services qualifications.Demonstrated experience in the field of vocational education and training in Australia.Demonstrated experience in the community services industry.Demonstrated experience in delivering training to diverse participant groups, face to face, online, and by distance.Demonstrated experience in working with people who have barriers to learning.What we offerAs a registered NFP we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as:
